Pope Francis to meet with Fidel Castro during Cuba trip

HAVANA, Cuba -
Pope Francis will meet with former Cuban leader Fidel Castro during his
trip to the communist island this month, church officials announced.

Further details about the meeting have not been released, and officials
have said it will depend on the health of the 89-year-old former leader.

Meanwhile, new photos of Castro were tweeted over the weekend, showing
the elder Castro brother meeting with Venezuela's minister of defense,
Vladimir Padrino.
